K Callan is an American actress and writer, who portrayed Mrs. Charlotte Burton, the mother of Terri Burton, the kidnapped girl, on the Police Squad! episode The Butler Did It (A Bird in the Hand). Her most notable role is the role of Martha Kent, mother of Clark Kent on Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. Callan has had guest-starring roles on One Day at a Time, St. Elsewhere, Carnivàle, The Division, JAG, Coach and King of the Hill and played a key role on an Emmy Award-winning episode of All in the Family.
