"Weird Al" Yankovic is an American singer, musician, actor, satirist, parodist, songwriter, accordionist, and television producer. He is known for writing and singing humorous songs that spoof other songs (examples are: Another One Rides The Bus (Spoofing: Another One Bites The Dust), Lasagna (Spoofing: Labamba) and Eat It (Spoofing: Beat It). Yankovic appeared in all three of the Naked Gun Films as himself in the first and the last film and in the second as a police station thug. Yankovic's first album Weird Al Yankovic was released in 1983 and reached nr. 139 on the Pop Album Chart. Yankovic also sang the title song for Spy Hard wich starred Leslie Nielsen (who portrays Frank Drebin in the films and the series). Yankovic has also written his own film (UHF) and his own tv series (The Weird Al Show). During his career he has won a total of 3 Grammy Awards, and has 6 Platinum Records.
